Kimora Lee’s bold and vibrant clothes skyrocketed. Baby Phat was created to give a woman’s apparel to Phat Farm. Baby Phat apparel now includes clothing, accessories and footwear for juniors, plus sizes and girls. Russell Simons was once quoted, as saying “Since its inception in 2000, Baby Phat’s revenues have grown dramatically every year.”

Baby Phat first hit the scene as publicity tool when tiny tees with the clever name of Baby Phat. Then when celebrities, supermodels and tastemakers began wearing baby tees, a decision was made to launch an entire Baby Phat sportswear collection. Since Kimora Lee started modeling for designer Karl Lagerfeld at the House of Chanel when she was twelve, she already had a since for fashion.
